Preheat
conventional oven to 450 (convection oven 375) degrees. Mix dry ingredients
toger; Melt shortening and add to warm milk; mix with dry ingredients.
Place on a floured board and knead until no longer sticky. Using rolling
pin, roll until 1/2” thick and cut with biscuit cutter. Place
on ungreased baking sheet and bake in convection oven for 10 to 12 minutes
(conventional oven 15 to 20 minutes) or until golden brown. Yields: 24 biscuits |
