Chef Eddie - Italian Cheesecake Napoleon

This year I attended the Restaurant Leadership Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. Clabber Girl was a sponsor of this event and there were over 1100 people attending, with over 53% of the total foodservice industry was represented.

This year's conference really set the standard for years to come. The first ever Chef's Competition was held, and had over 600 entries. I made the winning recipe for the Dessert Division. I called it Italian Cheesecake Napoleon, and it was made with our own Royal® Cheesecake filling.

Another event that took place at this year's conference was the Silent Auction for the Carre Foundation, which raised more than $55,000. Clabber Girl's donations to this auction were an IRL race helmet autographed by the drivers, bringing $3,400 and a race package that went for $1,200.
